Can We Make Your Part?
Aluminum casting, machining, finishing and assembly…managed from one source.
If you’re sourcing an aluminum cast component, you shouldn’t have to coordinate a foundry, machine shop, inspection company, coating supplier and assembly operation just to get one finished part.
Precision Enterprises can manage the process from engineering and tooling through casting, machining, inspection, secondary finishing and minor assembly…delivering a finished component ready for your assembly.
With more than 70 years of aluminum casting and machining experience, in-house engineering and tooling, multiple foundries, 25+ CNC machining centers and established secondary suppliers, we can take your project from first-pass samples through ongoing production.
Have a part you need manufactured? Let’s talk about it.
Simplify the Supply Chain for Your Aluminum Castings
A cast component can pass through a surprising number of hands before it reaches your assembly line.
And between those steps, someone has to coordinate transportation, scheduling, inspection, documentation and quality control.
Precision Enterprises brings much of that process together.
Instead of managing every step separately, you can work with one manufacturing partner responsible for the finished component. That can mean fewer supplier handoffs, less transportation between processes and one team responsible for keeping the program moving.
Give us the part. We’ll manage the process.
From Your CAD File to a Finished Component
We can work from a blueprint, CAD file, sample or existing casting.
Our in-house engineering team reviews the part for manufacturability and fit and function, then works with you to determine the appropriate casting method, alloy, tooling, machining requirements and other production considerations.
Depending on the project, our engineering team can:
Tooling production is also handled on site.
Our goal at Precision Enterprises is to go beyond just producing a casting that comes out of the mold. We’ve developed a turnkey manufacturing process that produces the finished component your application requires.
Aluminum Sand Casting
Complex aluminum castings from prototype quantities through production.
Precision specializes in aluminum sand casting for components ranging from under 1 pound to approximately 150 pounds, with a typical sweet spot of 5–75 pounds.
We pour a range of aluminum alloys, including:
Foundry Equipment
Our foundry capabilities include multiple molding processes and equipment, allowing us to match the process to the size, complexity and production requirements of your part.
Our equipment includes:
- Sinto automatic molding
- Cope and drag molding
- Roto-Lift molding
- Air set / no-bake molding
- Floor molding
- Green sand molding
- Rollover and jolt-squeeze molding
- Permanent mold capabilities
- On-site core room for complex core assemblies
lARGE COMPLEX CASTINGS
For larger and more complex castings, our engineering team uses CAD and flow-analysis software to evaluate the casting before production. The result is a casting designed with the downstream manufacturing process in mind, not a casting that has to be figured out after the fact.
CNC Machining
The casting is only part of the finished component.
Precision has 25+ CNC machining centers and machines approximately 95% of the castings poured in our foundries.
Our machining capabilities include:
Because our engineering, foundry and machining operations work together, machining requirements can be considered while the casting and tooling are being developed.
That matters when your finished component depends on precise interfaces, critical dimensions, machined surfaces or multiple machining operations.
We can also machine materials beyond castings, including aluminum billet, bar and plate, stainless steel, titanium and specialty alloys, plastics and engineered polymers.
Quality & Inspection
The finished component needs to meet the requirements—not just the casting.
Precision Enterprises operates with ISO 9001:2015-certified quality procedures and maintains documented, auditable processes throughout its manufacturing operations.
Quality and inspection capabilities include:
Parts that leave Precision for outside secondary finishing are brought back through inspection to verify that they return on time and to print. That gives your team one less point of responsibility for the finished component, rather than having to manage quality across multiple suppliers.
Finishing, Testing & Assembly
Need more than a machined casting?
Precision can manage the secondary operations required to turn a machined casting into a finished component.
Available services include:
Minor assembly can include installing hardware, printed circuit boards and other components into the finished casting. For some programs, Precision can also handle kitting and packaging so finished products can be shipped directly to your distribution network or retail locations.
Your Parts From First Samples to Production
Not every aluminum casting project needs the same production strategy.
Precision can support programs ranging from approximately 100 pieces to 50,000+ pieces, depending on the part and manufacturing requirements.
We can support:
First-pass samples → prototype quantities → production → ongoing programs
For recurring production, Precision can also work with blanket orders and ongoing inventory programs such as Vendor Managed Inventory.
Whether you need a relatively small production run or an established component manufactured on an ongoing basis, the process can be managed through the same manufacturing partner.
One Source for the Manufacturing Process
The advantage of Precision isn’t simply the number of machines or processes we have.
It’s the ability to connect those processes.

The specific requirements vary by application, but the manufacturing question is often the same:
Can you make the part, and can you manage the process required to get it ready for our assembly line?
That’s where Precision’s combination of engineering, aluminum casting, machining, inspection and secondary operations comes together.
