History
James Schrader Sr. recognized the potential for growth in aluminum products and founded the Precision Aluminum Foundry in Chicago, Illinois in 1945.
The foundry operations were later moved to Somonauk, IL and, through acquisition, a second foundry was added in Rock Island and the company name was changed to Precision Enterprises, Inc. Today, Precision consists of state-of-the-art foundry and machining operations offering a full range of capabilities in the U.S. and abroad through partnerships with foundries in India and China.
