State-of-the-Art Aluminum Foundry

Precision Enterprises offers you the most modern, state-of-the-art, automated foundry facilities in North America. We specialize in highly complex, highly cosmetic castings produced with a  wide range of alloys. Our team specializes in producing large complex, dimensionally accurate castings for demanding industries, from heavy equipment and marine components to architectural and industrial applications to the cosmetically demanding MedTech industry.

Our size capability ranges from under 1 pound to 150 pounds. Each of our  11 furnaces is dedicated to a particular alloy to help eliminate the chance of metal contamination.

Need Great Cosmetics?
No Porosity? Precision Enterprises!

Each heat is automatically degassed to eliminate porosity and ensure your casting is sound.

Depending on your size and quantity needs, we deploy both Rota-Lift® and Sinto automated molding machines, and British Molding Lines (Cope and Drag machines) to handle small, medium and large castings at full production capacities.

Large Casting Foundry

First things first: Your CAD files.

Every large casting begins with collaboration. We work directly with your engineering and design teams to determine the best casting method, optimize gating and riser systems, and minimize material waste. We have several seats in SolidWorks and flow software to determine heat areas that may cause trouble in the name of porosity, turbulence, or cold shots.

Sand Casting Aluminum

The best method for casting aluminum is sand casting. The benefits are numerous. Low cost, short time to market, inexpensive tooling, good surface finishes, and several other valuable characteristics. Tooling used in the sand casting process has come a long way over the past years. Learn more about sand casting, its benefits, and how it works.

End-to-End Aluminum Casting Production

Pattern Design & Setup

Using precision tooling and pattern-making to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Molding

Utilizing large flask and floor molding equipment to produce high-strength sand molds capable of handling heavy pours. This can be deciding to pour either in air set or floor molding. If quantities and size permit, we will run your project on our automated Sinto Molding line. This line is used for medium to large production quantities.

Melting & Pouring

We offer several aluminum alloys that can be melted in our many high-capacity furnaces, then carefully poured to achieve consistent metal flow and reduce turbulence.

Cooling & Shakeout

Controlled cooling ensures uniform structure and reduces internal stress.

Finishing & Machining

Castings are cleaned, heat treated if needed and machined to your exact specifications.

Maximum dimensions

36x40x24 on conventional Cope & Drag patterns. Much larger in Air Set and floor molding.

Casting weights

Our foundry is equipped to handle large castings: Up to 150 pounds.

Molding Equipment

Whether you need a single prototype or a full production series, our team maintains tight process control to ensure every part meets your requirements.

We combine floor molding capability for oversized components with automatic sand molding systems for high-volume production.
Our equipment includes:

  • Large flask systems for complex or high-mass components
  • Conventional Cope & Drag molding lines.
  • Rotolift molding lines
  • No Bake/ Air Set
  • Permanent mold lines.
  • Sinto Automatic molding line.
  • Green Sand molding lines
  • Rollover and jolt-squeeze molding lines for medium-sized parts
  • On-site core room for large or intricate core assemblies

This flexibility allows us to adapt to your project’s scale — from one-off castings to ongoing production.

Alloy Expertise

We pour a wide range of  aluminum alloys, including:

  • 356, 319, 319SR, and 535 (Almag) series for high-strength and corrosion-resistant applications
  • Specialty alloys available upon request

Each alloy is selected based on the strength, machinability, and corrosion resistance your application requires. Our metallurgical team monitors chemistry, temperature, and grain structure to ensure consistent mechanical properties.
